MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK
PSDA has so many ways members can volunteer to learn and be engaged with the club around all things Dahlias.
PSDA offers a Token of Appreciation to our volunteers for each shift fulfilled.
Tokens can be redeemed for regular priced tubers (1 token = 1 tuber) and Club branded Merchandise.
As a member of PSDA, volunteer opportunities are nearly endless and all provide educational and engagement enrichment.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We have many volunteer activities throughout the year such as:
TUBER SALES
Preparing for the Tuber Sale: inspecting and packing tubers. We need cashiers, greeters, shopper assistants, counters, restockers, and runners to help make our sales a success.
DISPLAY GARDENS
We always need more volunteers to help plant, weed, tie up, deadhead to ensure our beautiful display garden at Volunteer Park is photo ready for the public.
NEWSLETTER
Our newsletter is powered by volunteers who enjoy writing, interviewing and taking photos.
MONTHLY MEETINGS
At our monthly meetings we ask volunteers to bring refreshments to share and others to serve as greeters. Members can participate in presentations too.
BOARD MEMBER
Our very active board is comprised of all volunteers. Any member is welcome to serve in an official capacity.
ORGANIZING EVENTS
If you like to organize events, we have lots of them and can use your help at the picnic, holiday party and various contests throughout the year.
ANNUAL SHOW
Our annual show at Sky Nursery needs many helping hands from set up, tear down, greetings, and helping at the information booth.
